Strong-acid ion-exchange resin based on styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer matrix with sulfonic acid groups (-SO3H). Its acidity is comparable to inorganic acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. Equivalent to Amberlite IR-120, Dowex-50 (USA); Lewatit-100 (Germany); Diaion SK-1 (Japan).
